We collect from anywhere inside a fifteen mile radius of Guildford. Woking, Aldershot, Farnborough, Camberley, Farnham, Cranleigh. The car comes to us, and it goes back the same way.
The box comes out and comes apart. Bearings, synchros, selector forks and shafts are inspected and measured individually, so you are told what is actually worn.
Worn components are replaced with the right parts. Fifty years of links with manufacturers means we can source almost anything, for almost anything.
Refitted, adjusted and road tested before it leaves the workshop. A gearbox is only right when it feels right through the lever.
Four things, done properly.
Jumping out of gear, worn synchros, stiff selectors, noisy bearings. Diagnosed and repaired on all makes and models.
A full strip, inspection and rebuild, with parts sourced direct through our manufacturer links.
Slipping, dragging or juddering clutches replaced — disc, cover, release bearing and any related wear.
Routine servicing and general repair, carried out in the same workshop by the same technicians.
Fifteen miles of Guildford, collected and delivered.
Collection and delivery is part of the job, not an extra. If you are inside the radius, we will come and get it.
